Brother of Ireena Kolyana and son of the late Kolyan Indirovich, Burgomaster of Barovia village. He carries the nickname Ismark the Lesser, a weight he seems well aware of.
The party first spotted him sitting alone near the back of the The Blood of the Vine tavern. Ignacious Teegan, unprompted, bought him a drink. Ismark dragged his chair over and joined the table.
He seemed to be getting on well enough until one of the Vistani women asked how many times his sister had been visited by a mysterious caller. He took offence, stood up, and walked out into the street without another word.
Ismark and his sister Ireena made the coffin for their father, Kolyan Indirovich, and Ismark helped carry it to the church for the burial. When a stranger appeared behind Father Donavich at the graveside, it was Ismark who told Edric Storm who he was: Rahadin, the castle chamberlain.
After Rahadin had mocked his father in his own eulogy and left, and the crowd had dwindled, Ismark gave a eulogy of his own.
