A river running through the valley of Barovia.
The Vistani Camp
A camp of Vistani wagons pitched near a tributary of the river, which the The Gallows Oak brothers pointed the party toward. It was here that Madam Eva read the party’s fortune in her tent, and Laszlo, The Storyteller told the tale of the Wizard and fought Virro in front of a betting crowd.
Arabelle, daughter of the jeweler Norella, went missing from this camp after being told she couldn’t go fishing with Krogarov. Laszlo promised the party safe passage beyond The Mists if they bring her back.
The Wizard’s Fall
According to Laszlo, when Strahd threw the wizard from the precipice above the falls, Laszlo climbed down to the river to search the body, but the River Ivlis had already carried him away.
